I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

of your letter No 12022/1916, and regret that owing to the
movement of my Regiment I have been unable to reply to
it before.
With reference to the contents contained therein
I should be glad if I might be granted a personal interview
with the Under Secretary of State any day next weck with
exception of Thursday.
Will you kindly note that my Regiment has been
transferred to Felixstowe.
